According to our son, this is the best… and who would argue with a nine year old. Butter and milk give this white sourdough loaf a beautiful soft and pillowy texture (and using the tangzhong method helps too). With smaller air pockets in the crumb, this bread is fantastic for toasts of any kind, as the butter (or in our son’s case the honey) doesn’t leak through the holes and drip down your hands.
